This is the sort of cemetary which sends shivers of both excitement and fear down the average persons back. White Cemetary, located in a northern town in Illinois, is known for its share of activity.
Alex and I have been there a few times, and every time, there has been events which have happened. On a separate time, we brought 2 carloads up with us, got the permission of the local authorities, and set up a mini hunt persay. We were only going to stay an hour or so and did not have all our equipment, save for a few cameras, camcorders and a digital voice recorder.
It wasn't cold enough to see your breath, but, as trained, we would hold before, during and after all pics taken.
One person sat the recorder on one of the stones closer to the road and started asking questions. IF only I knew how to put evp's onto my website, you all could listen. If ANYONE knows how to do this, PLEASE let me know! I'd like to know about video as well. We have soooo much on hi 8 and evp and can't show anyone unless they are right with us. They all need to go on site asap.
Anyhow, she asks normal evp type questions. On reviewing the results when we got home, there was an answer to "what is your name" and something undescernable to the question, "How did you die?"
On the nightvision camcorder, I was amazed... now and then, there would be a flashing.. almost like .. it's hard to describe without seeing it, really. You know when you're in a room and lightning flashes outside and lights up the room quickly? Thats what was happening, but the light wasn't visable to anyone who was NOT looking into the camcorder. It wasn't happening all the time either. It would only happen when the temperature would drop slightly. It seemed almost.. greenish in color, but then again, it had no color. Like I said, it's hard to describe, lol.
While walking through the cemetary, there was a rustling up in the trees almost like someone rattling a newspaper or walking through fallen dried leaves. It would jump from one tree to the next - yet the trees were spaced apart from each other and the jumping would go across the road to one tree, then back across the road to a tree further on.. but it stayed right with us as we progressed. At one point, I felt real heavy, like I was walking against 70 mph wind. That's the only way to describe it.
I'll add more about this cemetary. Right now, I want to touch on some other places West Chicago Paranormal has been to.
