STORY:
We were contacted by a person, Mr. X, who reported shadow people being sighted in the house, various objects would be moved about, and his bedroom was far colder than any other part of the house. He stated on times, he would wake up and see something standing by his bed watching him. When he would fully wake, it would vanish.
Mr.X does not feel threatened by the activity. He told me that he had used a Ouija Board and that's where the activity was coming from, but, as it's not bad, he doesn't mind. He also noted he tried numerous times to get rid of the Ouija Board, but it would keep returning to his room.
I explained to him the nature of Ouija and gave him a good means of disposal. Mr. X said the board is gone now.
We went to the home and did the whole prelim. Drew up floor plan, saw where the occurances were taking place, talked to another family member who had witnessed, talked to a friend who had witnessed.
The first thing we did was check for means of making shadows which could account for seeing the shadow people. One window was off the street so we took a car by with low beams then high beams. That failed to show any shadows like Mr. X described.
Up in the bedroom, we checked thoroughly for drafts coming through the windows, through the door, and around the perimeter of the room. It was sealed up nicely, so that played no factor in the cause of that room being the most chilly. We sent Dan down to the basement to check on the hvac; he reported no visable problems on that end. No vents were blocked, everything was working as it should.
FINDINGS:
The entire home was at a steady 68 degrees Fahrenheit. There were drops in the bedroom to 65 and 62 a couple times, but it wasn't lasting.
Nothing on video capture.
No pictures.
EVP- When I asked, "Why are you here?" There was silence for a moment, then something that sounds like, "Seeeeek...." is heard. That was it for evp phenomenom.
********************
ANALYSIS:
Other than the drop in temperature and the evp captured, there were feelings of being watched, and, at one point, there was a strong feeling of dread in a few members. There wasn't enough evidence captured to say the residential is definitely haunted, however.
