(yah i cheated a bit. posted this on my myspace blog and then copied it to here, but come on... proof that it is mine is here

now for the tale. I cant wait to return!!!!
First of all, the hi 8 was set up right by the only stairs to the basement of the bar. Easily can see if someone comes down. CYOA is what it's called (covering your own ass). That way if someone came down after us or before us, we'd know. It would be documented.
Well, back upstairs to do other readings and what not. uneventful, no detail needed. We go back down. The cam is still filming. We go to the end of the basement, taking pics and what not. When coming back, there it is. on the ground perfectly, a child sized footprint. the basement had water here and there... um.... so alex grabs the hi8 and brings it to the footprint to show what we are seeing. you can easily see our bootprints..but there, right in front of where we had set the hi8, was the kiddie bare foot print!! no one had come into the basement before or after us...
so we check around , and get a cool little streak.. it goes toward the right of the hi8, then shoots back. looks like a perfect L but going the other way.. like _I if that makes sence to you.
Then we have the evp. this is documented on the camera AND on my digital. There is complete silence, then you hear something like , 'Mmm....noooo." or something similar. It's def a class B, not that clear, but not so distorted that you cant tell. I'll be cleaning it up and making it more pronounceable so we can tell for sure.
Ah, we got the kid bare foot on digital camera as well.
So I dont know how to post this on our site. it is 40 minutes of watching a wall til we get to the footprint and other stuff.... who wants to watch that for that long> but if I dont put it all up, someone can say, 'yeah, but we dont know if someone went down and put the footprint there and then you all restarted the tape...' sigh. it goes continously, but do i really want 40 min of nothing on there?
what do you all think? im going to run it by Grant or something and see what he advises. This is awesome footage, for just a preliminary investigation. We're going back soon and doing an all nighter like I mentioned earlier.
ah, background... it used to be an apartment, but a fire broke out in 92. A pregnant young woman with her dog was killed there by the fire. The bar owner and employees and patrons alike have experiences all the time, day, night, whenever. they see a full aparition go into the basement, thats why there are bells on the basement door... to alert them if they are alone. hehe.... um.... the woman is seen with her dog a lot. there are doors that open and close a lot. i use the word 'a lot' a lot... and there are cold spots, voices, singing.... it's cool.
